CHARSADDA: A 14-year-old girl was killed and four other family members got injuries when roof of their house collapsed in Sabqaddar tehsil here on Saturday night.

According to locals and police, the roof of the house of Mohammad Azam, who is a labourer in Saudi Arabia, collapsed in Mansooka locality on the outskirts of Shabqaddar Bazaar when they were asleep. As a result, 14-year old Zainab died on the spot, while her mother, a 12-year-old sister, an 11-year-old brother and a 10-year-old sister got serious injuries. However, two minor girls escaped unhurt.

The local people retrieved the body and the injured from the debris and shifted them to hospital.
