KARACHI: Seven horses are in contention for the February Cup which figures prominently in a five-race card that has been drawn for the Gymkhana race meeting slated to take place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The February Cup has been classified under combined scale order II, III and IV and will be contested over four-and-a-half furlongs. It is the fourth race in racing order.

The next race which is the supporting event under scale order V and VI also has seven acceptors and will also go over four-and-a-half furlongs.

The first three races of lower classification will be run over four furlongs.

Altogether, 35 horses will vie for honours barring last-minute withdrawal(s).

The first race starts at 2.30pm.
