LAHORE: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (Ruda) affectees’ action committee postponed their tractor rally scheduled for Monday for four days after the deputy commissioner assured farmers and other stakeholders to resolve their issues regarding the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project.

During the meeting, the DC heard the affectees action committee.

“DCs of Lahore and Sheikhupura and other concerned have assured us of arranging a meeting with the Ruda chairman and Board of Revenue Senior member within the three days.

And the Ruda chairman and the BRSM are to remove our all objections and reservations,” said an action committee leader.

“All the officers have considered our demands as legitimate and assured us that these will be resolved.”
