PESHAWAR: The Bus Rapid Transit will soon have 30 new buses arriving from China in its fleet taking the total number to 158.

In a statement on Monday, a BRT spokesman said the new buses had left China to join the fleet in Peshawar to further enhance the commuting facility for its passengers.

He said each bus would have a length of 18 meters and would run on the express route, the most popular among passengers with no frequent stops.

He said the BRT administration was endeavouring to provide best possible commuting facilities to passengers, adding the new buses would accommodate around 3,750 passengers daily.
