PESHAWAR: Body of a six-year-old boy was found in the limits of Rehman Baba police station here on Friday, the police said.

An official told Dawn that Abdul Moiz’s body was recovered from a graveyard.

The official quoted the victim’s father as saying that the boy used to sleep with his uncle in another room of their house.

On Thursday, the complainant said he along with his son went to a mosque for night prayer, and on return, the victim went to bed with his uncle as usual.

The victim’s father said after morning prayers the next day, someone came to his home and informed them that the body of his son was lying in a nearby graveyard.

The official said the body had been sent to hospital for obtaining autopsy.
