Sindh reports 579 new Covid-19 cases, 23 deaths

Sindh has confirmed 579 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the provincial tally to 249,497, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Twenty-three more people lost their lives due to the virus, with Sindh's death toll climbing to 4,059.

A total of 11,125 tests were carried out in the province in the last 24 hours, Shah said in a statement. Out of the total 579 cases, 293 were recorded in Karachi.
