Pakistan has reported the lowest number of daily coronavirus cases for the first time in three months.

The data shows that the country recorded 1,220 virus cases during the last 24 hours, its lowest daily cases since November 2, when 1,246 cases were reported.

The current positivity rate is 3.1 per cent.

Meanwhile, the vaccination drive for frontline healthcare workers is set to begin across the country tomorrow after Pakistan received its first batch of vaccines from China.

The process of dispatching the doses to the provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir has been finalised, but is being kept confidential due to security reasons.
