KOHAT: The cabinet members of the Kohat Press Club (KPC) and the Kohat Union of Journalists (KUJ) were elected uncontested for the year 2021 here on Monday.

Noor Mohammad Bangash and Farhan Ahmed Bangash were elected as presidents of the KPC and KUJ, respectively.

According to the election committee chairman Munawar Orakzai, Kamran Khan was elected KPC vice-president, Faisal Nadeem general secretary, Syed Faizan Banoori finance secretary, Syed Basit Gilani joint secretary and Syed Aleem Haider liaison secretary.

For executive body of KPC, Qazi Noor Khan was elected member 1, Bashir Khan member 2, Allah Dad member 3 and Yaseen Awan member 4.

For KUJ, Fazal Mahmood was elected senior vice-president, Syed Yasir Shah Farooq vice-president, Khalid Ali general secretary, Wazir Ali joint secretary, Fayyaz Mohammad liaison secretary and Esar Ali finance secretary.
