RAWALPINDI: A man killed his father and a younger brother at their workplace located on Lahore High Court Road on Saturday night and escaped.

Raja Shakeel Kamal, 39, a resident of Gulraiz Colony Phase III, complained to the Airport police that he along with his father Mohammad Sharif owned a showroom of used cars near Car Chowk.

He said his elder brother Aqeel Kamal also assisted his father in the business. Mr Kamal said they were discussing some issue in the showroom when Aqeel pulled out a pistol and shot his father and younger brother Mohammad Adeel.

The injured were taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) where they were pronounced dead.

According to an initial police report, Sharif was hit in the chest while a bullet had pierced Adeel’s face and exited from behind.

Raids were being conducted to arrest the alleged killer who the police described as mentally disturbed and an addict.

The deceased man and his son were laid to rest in a local graveyard in the presence of a large number of people on Sunday evening.
