Free school in Hub

Published January 22, 2021

THIS is apropos to the letter ‘Hub and higher learning’ (Dec 5). I would like to point out that there is a school in Hub which is a centre of excellence for secondary education in Balochistan.

It was founded by a private foundation about five years ago. The school is imparting free-of-cost high-quality education to the poor population of Balochistan. The school also has a hostel facility for students coming from far-flung areas of the province.

The foundation has chalked out a plan to turn this secondary school into a college for graduation. The foundation even intends to bring this academic institution to the status of a university in the future.

I am sure it will be an academic institution par excellence for the poor and dejected students of Balochistan.
