KARACHI: A young man was shot dead near Ghaus Park in the Korangi area late on Saturday night.

According to the Awami Colony police, Zain Ali, 38, was shot dead by three assailants riding a motorcycle. The suspects sped away after committing the crime, the police said.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.

The police ruled out possibility that the suspects might have tried to rob the victim of his valuables.
