CHAGAI: Local residents in Nushki staged a demonstration at Mir Gul Khan Naseer Chowk against prolonged and unannounced loadshedding of electricity in commercial, residential and agricultural areas of the town.

Addressing the protesters, local politicians Mir Khurshid Jamaldini, Nazeer Baloch, Hafiz Abdullah Gorgaij, Molvi Mohammad Qasim Mengal and Comrade Jamil Mengal said that the people of the area, including farmers, were suffering because of loadshedding.

They said electricity was being supplied to special areas while common people were being neglected.

The said the people of resources-rich Balochistan were being deprived of their basic rights as the residents in Nushki were facing severe shortage of electricity which was causing a lot of problems.
