HYDERABAD: Former officials of the Sindh Football Association have called for the removal of SFA Normalisation Committee secretary Dost Mohammad Danish, who was named to the post following the appointment of provincial bodies by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee.

Speaking at a joint press conference at the local press club on Sunday, former SFA secretary Mohammad Azam Khan, former DFA Nawabshah president Naeem Billu, former DFA Hyderabad secretary Waheed Shaikh and national referee Hafiz Mohammad Danish also hailed the appointment of Muneer Sadhana as the acting chairman of the PFF Normalisation Committee.

Sadhana was a member of the Normalisation Committee, which was appointed by FIFA in September last year, and was promoted to acting chairman following the resignation of chairman Humza Khan earlier this month.

“We hope Muneer Sadhana will make decisions on merit in the futureregarding the all-important elections of the PFF which have to beconducted by the Normalisation Committee,” they said.

They also called for Danish’s removal since he failed to hold club scrutiny in Tando Jam on Saturday and alleged him of supporting unregistered and bogus clubs.
