NOWSHERA: Seven people were killed and 11 others injured when a passenger coach collided with a truck in Nizampur area here on Saturday.
Locals rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and the injured to hospital.
According to a spokesman of Rescue 1122, a woman and child died on the spot, while five others expired in Qazi Medical Complex. He said at least 18 people were boarding the coach. The Nizampur police registered a case and started investigation.
According to the police, the bodies were handed over to families after postmortem. Two victims and one injured could not be identified.
