KARACHI: Woman, 3 men found dead

KARACHI, Oct 1: The torso of a woman was found in Korangi and three men were killed in various places in separate incidents here on Saturday. Police said that on information about a suspicious gunny bag they reached near an eye hospital in Korangi No 3, in the Zaman Town police limits. As the gunny bag was opened, torso of an unidentified woman was found from it. The torso was dispatched to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medical examination.

A pan shop owner was shot dead when unidentified men opened fire at the shop near Noorani Eating House in Pak Colony. The victim was identified as Shehzad.

In another incident, Zeb Khan, hailing from the NWFP, was stabbed to death by unidentified men. He recently came to the city. Police believed personal enmity behind the killing.

A man, identified as Rassim was present at the aastana of his pir, when some armed people attacked him with lethal weapons and shot him dead.

SUICIDE: A 22-year-old man, Moinuddin, shot himself dead in his Mubina Town house. His joblessness was cited to be the reason for his suicide.

ARRESTS: Police arrested four alleged robbers in a shootout, two of them seriously wounded, in Girzri. The owner of a bungalow Imamuddin, informed the police as soon as the robbers invaded his house. Police recovered all the looted valuables, three TT pistols and a mouser gun from them, TPO Imran Shaukat said.
