RAWALPINDI: A play Bhola Puter was presented at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Saturday.

Written and directed by Sajjad Ahmed, the drama highlighted social issues.

The special guest at the function was Anti-Narcotics Force Director Mohammad Riaz Soomro.

The auditorium was packed to its capacity.

Jhalak Ali, Sapna Shah, Arshad Khan, Hameed Babar, Anjum Abbasi, Saima Khan, Maryam Shehzadi, Naeem Tota, Naseem Gulzar, Babar Ali and Liaquat Shah were among the actors who performed in the play.

Addressing on the occasion, a social activist Dr Arif Qureshi said: “We are trying to restore the lost dignity of stage drama, which is closer to reality.”

In the end, he congratulated all the actors for presenting a beautiful drama.
