RAWALPINDI: A special memorial service was held at the Royal Military College (RMC) Duntroon, Australia, to pay tribute to Lieutenant Nasir Shaheed of Pakistan Army.

Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar in a tweet said that a flower wreath was laid at the RMC war memorial on behalf of the Australian and Pakistani Armies.

He added that Lieutenant Nasir was martyred during an operation in North Waziristan on Sept 3

The martyred solider was a graduate of the Royal Military College.

Due to his outstanding performance in the Pakistan Military Academy, he was selected for training at the RMC.
