OKARA: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar transferred the deputy commissioner and an assistant commissioner during his visit to Okara on Wednesday.

The chief minister transferred DC Usman Ali and Deepalpur Assistant Commissioner Khalid Abbas Sial on public complaints regarding a lack of facilities at Sahulat bazaar and a road construction project.

The Services & General Administration Department has entrusted the additional charge of post of the deputy commissioner to Ms Saba Asghar Ali, additional deputy commissioner (revenue), till the posting of a regular incumbent.

AC Khalid Abbas Sial was transferred and Rana Aurangzeb has been posted AC.

New AC was recently removed over school guard torture

Rana Aurangzeb was recently removed as Burewala assistant commissioner on the allegation of torturing a security guard of a private school who had asked him to comply with Covid-19 SOPs.

The DHQ city and south hospitals have the vacancies of ENT specialist and neuro-physicians for more than three years. Similarly, the Renala Khurd THQ hospital which was constructed recently was working without basic facilities despite having patients burden. Other health facilities also are working without specialists and equipment.
