HARIPUR, Sept 28: Unidentified persons shot dead two friends and threw their bodies in limits of the City police station here on Tuesday night.
Police said that Habib Khan, son of Sher Afzal Khan, was shot dead near his house in Malikyar village when he was returning home. The bullet-ridden body of his friend, Mubashir Hussain, son of Master Gulzar, was found at a nearby place.
Family sources said that both the friends had left to attend a marriage ceremony in Dheenda village.
Habib had been released from jail some time back after completing a jail term of 25 years in a murder case.
