PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding to ensure easy access of people to healthcare.
Secretary health Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shan and Nadra chairman Usman Yousaf Mubeen signed the MoU.
In an effort to materialise the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started a comprehensive programme to ensure each citizen of the province is entitled to health insurance.
Nadra will provide expertise in information technology for successful execution of the programme. It will also provide primary services for data verification, a comprehensive management information system; establish a command and control centre, besides training the health department officials and providing consultation.
