QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that the speeches made by the leadership of the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement against the national security institution were not accidental or unintentional.

Mr Alyani, who has quarantined himself at his residence after he tested positive for Covid-19, said in his tweets on Sunday that the opposition leaders’ remarks against the high-ups of the national security institution was a proof that the agenda of the opposition parties was to spread chaos, anarchy and disorder in the country.

He said: “Need of the hour is to promote solidarity, unity, harmony and cohesion. We must think about the future of Pakistan. We have to give importance to the future of the Country. Pakistan has been passing through difficult times. The need of the time is to lead the country jointly with a comprehensive strategy.”

The CM said that the coalition partners of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf at the federal and provincial levels could not remain aloof from the day-to-day changes taking place in national political scenario.

He said that Covid-19 had badly affected the economies of underdeveloped as well as developed countries.
