TikTok ban

THE video-sharing application TikTok was banned recently by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority in the country. We have our own set of culture and traditions of modesty and respect. The application was clearly against the values and norms of society.

The banned application had people of all ages and from all walks of life making videos without taking into account the country’s accepted social norms and values.

TIKTOK has been banned by the PTA as it was having a detrimental effect on the minds of young Pakistanis. The PTA must ensure that the ban remains in place.
