OKARA: Eight people, three minor boys among them, were allegedly raped in parts of Punjab during the last few days.

Six of the ghastly incidents were reported in various parts of Okara. Two minor boys were raped at 47/GD and Chishti Qutab Din villages and one at Shergarh Town. Police registered cases of these incidents.

A woman was gang-raped in an area in the Shahbore police station jurisdiction. She escaped the perpetrators after five months and police registered a case.

A girl was raped at 1/1AL village and police registered a case. A police team arrested one of the rapists of a girl at Lai Fazal Shah village.

CHINIOT: A woman was gang -raped for three days after she was abducted at Aminpur Town.

‘R’, a resident of Chak No 142 JB, went to Aminpur Town for shopping and a man abducted her and raped her at a deserted house.

The suspect later handed over the woman to his friend who and his brother also sexually assaulted her.

The Rajoa police have registered a case under section 376 of PPC and arrested the three suspects.

SIALKOT: A 14-year-old girl was gang-raped at her house at Thro Mandi village of Pasrur tehsil on Thursday.

According to police, the girl was alone at her home when two armed suspects forced their entry there, raped her at gunpoint and fled away, leaving her injured. The girl was admitted to Pasrur’s Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.

Phalora police registered a case against the two nominated suspects but none of them could be arrested so far.
