MARDAN: One person was killed and three others were injured when rival groups traded fire in Toru locality here on Saturday.

Police officials said the groups were led by Wali Aman Khan and Tahir Ali.

The victim was named Wali Aman Khan. His son, Adnan, and Tahir Ali and Yasir Ali from the other group, received injuries in the exchange of fire.

Both the groups registered cross FIRs in the Toru police station.

The police officials said they had launched further investigations into the case.
