LAHORE: A small aircraft had a crash-landing at Walton Airport here on Thursday.

According to officials, a front wheel of the aircraft broke down while landing. It was being operated by a woman trainee pilot.

Rescue teams of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rushed to the spot and provided help to the woman pilot who reportedly remained unhurt.

The CAA closed the main runway of the Walton Airport after the incident.

It also imposed a ban on training flights by the flying clubs.
