Komal, Nimra make final

PESHAWAR: Top seed and Pakistan No. 1 Komal Khan and Nimra Aqeel reached the final of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Women Senior and Junior Squash Championship here at the Qamar Zaman Squash Complex on Friday.

Komal faced little resistance against fourth seed Hira Aqeel in the four-game semi-final which the former won 11-8, 9-11, 11-3, 11-1.

In the other last-four clash, second seed Nimra overpowered third seed Sana Bahadur 11-9, 10-12, 10-12, 13-11, 11-4.

Earlier in the quarter-finals Komal, Hira, Sana and Nimra won their respective matches.

The final will be played on Saturday.
