CHARSADDA: Two persons were killed when rival groups traded fire in Hassankhel area here on Friday.

Officials at the Pran police station named the victims Mohammad Ajmal and Badiuzaman. They said the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to hospital.

They said Amir Zada and Irfan were nominated in the FIR.

Meanwhile, a man was killed and a woman injured for having illicit relations in Ali Shan Qilla area of Umarzai tehsil.

Police said the injured woman got registered a report against her husband.

In another incident, unknown assailants killed owner of a dairy farm named Rustam. His brother reported to Nesata police that the victim was present in his farm when he heard gunshots, and when he came out his brother was lying in a pool of blood in front of the farm’s gate. The police registered the case.

In Purdal Malak Kallay area, Hamir Shah was seriously injured when Gul Zamin Khan and Zar Gul opened fire on him over an old enmity. Hamir Shah later succumbed to injuries in hospital.
