RAWALPINDI: The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has finalised arrangements to tackle any flood by desilting and dredging Nullah Leh.

Earlier, Rescue 1122 conducted a flood preparedness exercise at Rawal Dam to enhance its operational compatibility.

District Emergency Officer Dr Abdul Rehman said Rescue 1122 was fully alert to tackle any flood-like situation. According to chief officer Civil Defence, Talab Hussain, the administration on the directives of the commissioner Rawalpindi had set up a special control room to monitor the flood situation in nullahs.
