SNGPL registers Rs7bn profit

LAHORE: In its 55thannual general meeting, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Saturday finalised the annual accounts with after-tax profit of Rs7.076bn (Rs11.16 earning per share) and approved dividend of Rs3.5 per share on the recommendations of the board of directors.

It will be inclusive of an interim dividend of Rs1.5 per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, already paid in FY 2018-19. The shareholders of the company also appointed M/s Deloitte Yousaf Adil as auditors for the FY 2019-20, according to a spokesman.

During the meeting, the shareholders were informed that despite numerous economic, financial challenges and odds, the company remained focused on regaining growth under the guidance of the board of directors and consistent efforts of the management and staff.
