TOBA TEK SINGH: A young girl allegedly lost her life in an accidental shooting while shooting a scene for her tiktok account on her mobile phone late on Thursday in Kamalia.

The Kamalia city police said deceased Farah Ali, 14, daughter of Ghulam Ali, of Siddiqabad, would often post her movie clips on social media site tiktok.

Her father told the police that the deceased was posing actions while her younger sister Faiza Ali was shooting her clips. He added in a scene she used his loaded pistol and aimed at her head which accidently went off and she was critically injured. She later succumbed to her wounds before shifting to a hospital.

The police said the girl’s father gave a written application to the city police to not register a case as it happened accidentally. He said District Police Officer Rana Umer Farooq directed a police forensic experts team to look into the matter.

FEARED DROWNED: A brick kiln worker is presumed drowned in Jhang branch canal at Gojra on Friday.

The police said Mazhar Hussain, 50, of Chak 343-JB, was bathing in the canal near his workplace when he was swept away.

Rescue 1122 divers are trying to find him.

RAPE: Two men allegedly kidnapped and gang raped a woman of Gojra at Mian Channu (Khanewal) for several days.

The first information report registered on Friday evening by Gojra Saddar police said the complainant woman was offered a job by her relative, of Mian Channu Chak 135/16-L, and he asked her to reach Gojra from where he and his two accomplices took her to Mian Channu where two of them raped her for several days.

Then they dropped her at Mian Channu general bus stand and she reached Gojra by a bus on Friday.

Police were conducting raids to arrest the accused persons.
