LAHORE: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chairman Riaz Hameed Chaudhry on Wednesday resigned from his position citing “personal reasons”.

Mr Chaudhry was re-appointed as LWMC chairman for his second three-year term on May 18 for a term of three years – just 10 weeks ago. Earlier, he was appointed as LWMC chairman in July 2019.

Mr Chaudhry has resigned at a time, when the LWMC was amassing appreciation for ensuring “zero waste” in Lahore.
