Sindh Government Spokerperson Murtaza Wahab said the testing capacity of other provinces was far less than that of Sindh which had conducted 12,004 tests per million.

In a statement, he said that in comparison, Punjab conducted 5,427 tests per million, KP conducted 4,952 and 4,348 were carried out in Balochistan.

"The Sindh government is working hard to prevent the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, the other provinces have a lesser testing capacity and are reporting fewer cases.

"We need concerted efforts to prevent the spread of the virus as the pandemic has taken a global toll," he said.
