MARDAN: The information technology section of Women University Mardan organised training session on its campus as the university would start online classes on June 8.

The training was meant to prepare faculty members for online classes through learning management system, said a statement.

It said that on the directives of Higher Education Commission Islamabad, the management of WUM was ready to impart education to students through online learning system.

It said that the university had already devised its own learning management system.

Vice-chancellor Prof Ghazala Yasmeen showed keen interest in arranging online classes during the pandemic so that precious time students should not be wasted.

The university is going to launch online classes from June 8.
