The Sindh home department has issued an order listing the businesses and activities that will be allowed to resume and the ones that will remain closed in the province, in the wake of today's National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting.

The Sindh government reiterated that "the threat of disease spread has not subsided, rather increased, and more strict adherence to SOPs is required than ever before."

What will remain closed:

  • Educational institutions
  • Marriage halls, business centres
  • Indoor gyms and sports facilities
  • Restaurants and cafes excluding takeaway and home delivery
  • Amusement and theme parks
  • Beauty parlours and spas
  • Cinemas and theatres
  • Public processions and gatherings of all nature
  • Tourism/tourist hotels

Public transport will be opened after a meeting of transporters with the transport minister tomorrow after finalising SOPs.
