Punjab has reported 709 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking that provincial tally to 16,685, the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department said.
The province also recorded 17 new deaths. The death toll in Punjab is now 290.
So far, the province has conducted 180,450 tests.
