The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has agreed to provide relief to the business community “on [a] humanitarian basis” by allowing shops to remain open for three days from early morning to late night starting from Thursday.

The decision was taken after business community leaders assured Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider they would adhere to the government's standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Following the meeting, a notification was issued by the AJK home department, stating that shops and businesses would remain open for three days from May 21 from 5am to midnight.
