Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 324 new coronavirus cases, taking the provincial tally to 6,554, according to the health department.
The province's death toll from the virus rose to 345 with 11 more deaths reported — seven in Peshawar, two in Abbottabad and one each in Nowshera and Bajaur.
The country is confronting increasingly volatile weather patterns with consequences for agriculture, infrastructure, public health and economic planning.
