PML-N Senator retired Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum says the coronavirus crisis is "an existential threat to not just our healthcare system but also our country". He said this was because destruction from the virus will go on for a very long time.
"This is an invisible enemy and it is armed with those weapons which we can't counter," he said while speaking in the Senate.
