PTI lawmaker Faisal Javed said that the public stands to learn a lot from the Turkish drama Ertugrul that is currently being aired on PTV.
"We flooded our cinemas with Indian films. Now when Prime Minister Imran Khan gives a suggestion about an Islamic drama [there is backlash]. These are tools of knowledge, we can both learn from and enjoy this drama."
Addressing the Senate, Javed said that the coronavirus has been present in the country long before this year.
"Corona is not new. Pakistan has had corruption ka corona for the past several years. Ask the mother of those children that went to bed hungry. How many kids died due to this corona?"
