NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: A reporter working for a private news channel was found lying unconscious and having sustained multiple injuries at Lehrani stop on a link road in Bhirya city on Thursday.

Police said Aftab Hussain Keerio seemed to have sustained injuries from repeated strikes of club and other hard objects while returning home on his motorcycle.

They said he was taken to the Bhirya City hospital, where doctors referred him to the Naushahro Feroze Civil Hospital. A motive behind the attack could only be ascertained once he regained consciousness and recorded his statement, they added.
