KHUZDAR: Four members of a family were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a car at the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in Khuzdar district on Monday.

Levies officials said that a Quetta-bound passenger bus coming from Karachi hit a car coming from the opposite direction at Saman area of Khuzdar, seriously wounding all people travelling in the car.

The injured were taken to Khuzdar Teaching Hospital by members of Levies force where four members of the family died.

“The victims include husband, his wife, their son and another family member,” Levies officials said, adding that they had been identified as Haji Mohammad Ayub, Bibi Gul, Mohammad Ayaz and Mohammad Naeem.

The injured man was identified as Mohammad Shoaib.
