ISLAMABAD: Sarah Mehboob and Mehaq Khokhar, after winning their semifinals in style here on Friday, set up the title clash for Serena Hotels National Ranking Championship being played here at PTF Complex.

In an exciting semifinal Sarah Mehboob after losing the first set made a resounding come back to win next two sets and the match. Both players exhibited attacking tennis and after a good fight, Sarah defeated her opponent 4-6,6-4, 6-3.

In second semifinal, Mehaq Khokhar beat Sara Mansoor 6-4, 6-1 after a fine contests.

In the boys singles quarter finals, second seed Muzammil Murtaza defeated youngster Muhammad Shoaib 4-6,6-1,6-1 while top seed Aqeel Khan also comfortably beatMohammad Abdi 6-3,6-2.

A total number of 19 matches were played on the fifth day in the men’s, ladies, U-18, U-14 and U-12 singles and doubles.
