HARIPUR: A married woman allegedly committed suicide over unknown reasons in Hattar village here.
Hattar police quoted family sources as saying that Sadreen Bibi, 22, wife of Shehzad Khan of Mohallah Kotli Nehr Hattar, went to her room after having dinner on Monday night.
When she could not turn up for breakfast on Tuesday morning the family members entered her room and found her to be unconscious.
They took her to Haripur Trauma Centre, but she did not survive.
According to doctors, she had consumed insecticide. However, police registered a case after getting the postmortem report and have started investigations.
