Rao Anwar

WHEREAS a young budding model Naqibullah lost his precious life in an encounter with police, the tragedy brought to daylight how the Sindh police, nay Pakistan police, are misusing their official role for personal aggrandisement.

More shocking is the fact that 12,000 miles away the US government had to place Rao on blacklist for murdering over 400 citizens, including Naqibullah, in staged police encounters.

The US treasury notes that Rao helped to lead a network of police and criminal thugs who were allegedly responsible for extortion, land-grabbing, narcotics and murder.

Who in the world will believe that in an Islamic state citizens are protected by the country’s police?
