NUSKHI: A book fair was inaugurated here on Monday.

Organised by Ras Koh Literary Caravan, in collaboration with Bisham Book House, Department of Education Schools and Colleges Balochistan, the annual Book Fair was held at Boys Degree College.

It was inaugurated by a local literary personality, Obaidullah. Several publishers established their stalls at the book fair, which will continue for 30 days.

Besides Obaidullah, Mir Khursheed Ahmed Jamaldini, Hafiz Mutiur Rehman Mengal, President of Ras Koh Literary Caravan Hameed Sehrai, General Secretary Aabidi, journalist Saeed Baloch, Professor Ghamkhwar Hayat, Barkat Zaib Sumalani, Zahoor Gull Jamaldini and social activist Yousuf Baloch addressed the participants of the book fair at its inauguration ceremony.

They said the book fair could bring together publishers, writers, distributors and retailers as well as readers. The speakers urged the media to shift its attention to the book industry.
