KARACHI: A fire broke out at the Pakistan Television (PTV) Karachi station loca­ted in the New Town area on Friday, which destroyed wooden structures, said officials. No one was hurt in the incident.

A fire brigade official added that the blaze erupted at the set designing store at around 12.36pm.

Four fire engines rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze after hectic efforts at around 5.42pm.

The fireman said that the cause of the fire and estimation of loss could not be made immediately.
