LAHORE, Aug 8: Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja on Monday ordered removal of all hoardings offering fake plots on Murree-Rawalpindi Express-way and action against culprits.

He said the Punjab government had prepared by-laws to stop fraud in the housing sector. These by-laws were not being observed in the Murree areas and illegal construction was continuing, he said.

The minister said an advertising campaign had been launched for high-rise buildings and plazas on this road in all major cities of Punjab though such buildings were not permitted on the road.

He ordered the TMOs to ensure removal of all hoardings in cities and move against those trying to sell such flats and shops.
