DERA GHAZI KHAN: The district police officer (DPO) provided protocol and handed over his office to a child patient of Thalassemias to fulfill his dream of becoming a police officer on Monday.

Hamad Raza, son of Manzoor Hussain, of Tahir Town, has been suffering from the disease since his birth. He wants to become a police officer. When the DPO became aware of his wish, he arranged a visit of the child to his office.

Police, led by DPO Assad Sarfarz, brought Hamad from his house in to the office. The child, smartly dressed in mini-uniform of SSP, was received at the office with official protocol.

Guard of honour was presented to Hamad who also offered Fateha at the monument of martyrs of police.
