Trip to Kalam

Published September 20, 2019

ON a recent trip to Kalam, we had no alternative except to travel on the dilapidated Bahrain-to-Kalam road.

Kalam is blessed with numerous landscapes and alluring aesthetics, and is a major tourist destination all year long. Such negligence and lack of competence shown by the authorities concerned will play its part in reducing the already declined tourist influx.

The indifference shown by the government doesn’t speak much for the claims of tourism revival. Necessary steps must be taken to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and to eliminate any hindrances to the regions tourism.
