LAHORE: Six matches were decided in different age categories on the first day of the Rafum Junior National Tennis Championship at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-i-Jinnah here on Monday.

In the U-16 age category, five matches were held while in the U-14 event, one match was decided till the filing of this report.

The events are being held in different age categories including boys’ U-16 singles and doubles, boys’ U–14, boys’ and girls’ U-12 singles and doubles, boys’/girls’ U-10 and boys’/girls’ U–8.

Results:

U-16: Arham Khan bt Ryam Khan 8-3; Ibrahim Anjum bt Asnan Haseeb 8-5; Temor Ali bt Zaeem Ghafoor 8-5; Shaeel Durab bt Arman Kamran 8-4, Bilal Waheed bt Ali Shahik 8-6.

U-14: Zaeem Ghafoor bt Bilal Gilani 8-3.
